I'm SO thrilled for you. Congratulations!!!!!

I'll need to double check with Tanya, but I'm 99% certain the new session starts next Monday, July 28 at 8:30pm at Crescent Lotus Studio ( www.crescentlotus.com/ ).

One of the students currently studying with us is also a lawyer, and I'm guessing you two may hit it off. I don't know if she's planning on doing the 8:30 class, but I'll ask her tonight.

Shannon also has classes at her lovely studio Saffron ( saffronstudio.org/ ) which I assume you know, but just in case.

And also, the Sisters with a bit of help from n.o.madic are planning a October workshop with Urban Gypsy and Rachel George and a big Saturday night show at Balcony Music Club. The theme is Bellementals (empahsis on elementals), and we're accepting applications to perform. Check out the details at Krys's website (addy above) or, I think, n.o.madic tribal's.

    YAYAYAYAYAyayayayayayay.
    love.

      Uh, duh!

I didn't say anything about Tanya's class!! It's an 8 week session; $100 tution, and it focuses on movements (with an emphasis on combos/partnering), floorwork, improvisation, and musicality. Lots of verbal instruction and one-on-one adjustments.

      love!

Kick righteous ass! It all sounds fantastic! (and yes, I did kinda, sorta start performing--just two or three student solos). I got my dream job (in the dept. of sociology and criminal justice at Southeastern La. Univ. in Hammond, so I am permanently ensconsed in academia, and I shall not be removed!

I won't get there until around August 18, and I may not be able to afford classes 'til my paychecks kick in, but I'll definately be back! My basic ATS technique needs to be "cleaned" and I'm ready to learn more, more, more...

I did know about Indudala, and will be checking out those lovely ladies as well...
And the Halloween info is exciting too.

God, I cannot WAIT to be home!

        zaghareets!
