Whew. So much to tell!!
1. This Friday, Nov 9th:
Amy's class will perform at the Dragon's Den along side n.o.madic tribal. Show starts at 9pm. No Cover
2. Next Friday, Nov 16:
A Benefit for Johanna.
Johanna is a Tampa area bellydancer who was recently diagnosed with cancer and is now undergoing chemo; as a performer, she has no health insurance, so local area dancers Kryss of Sisters of Salome and Shamsi of Bayou Shimmy, along with n.o.madic tribal are donating their performances to this benefit show. Sliding Scale Cover--all proceeds go directly to Johanna.
(We still have room for other performances; if you'd like to participate, let me know ASAP!)
3. Beginning Wednesday, Nov 14--SlowMotionDevotion
A six-week tribal session focusing on moving so slow you transform time.
Teacher: Ali.
Where: Crescent Lotus
When: Wednesdays 6-7:15
Tuition: $85
The course will culminate in a slow choreography that we'll perform at the Dragon's Den.

Mon, November 12, 2007 - 12:21 PM(ooooohhh!! slade wiggles her tush in anticipation) I am actually planning to come to nola around new years (not ON new years), so sometime after xmas and probably closer to my actual birthday on 1/4. But I'll be on Xmas break after about Dec. 10, so it's very very flexible. Some of my dancer girlfriends here may be interested also.
