Urban Gypsy has its roots in Houston, Texas ~ where they have nurtured tribal dance and fashioned a path for other tribal troupes to emerge and
grow. Sahira and Zymirrah are founding members of the troupe and also serve as its leadership. In 2006, they had the honor (& thrill!!) of
being the first tribal dancers invited to teach at Ahlan Wa Sahlan, the largest bellydance festival in the world, in Cairo, Egypt. The troupe
consists of six incredibly talented and dedicated dancers, passionate about bringing to life the beauty and grace of our dance.

Zymirrah & Sahira also sponsor the 3rd Coast Tribal Dance Festival annually in in Texas. They are devoted to bringing talented performers
to the 3rd Coast and sharing them with those eager to study our dance. Learn more about Urban Gypsy : urbangypsy.tribe.net/ and
