There really isn't much in the way of hotels near CL. Hotel le Cirque is probably one of the closest, but it's still down on St. Charles @ Lee Circle (nice hotel, typically good rates, and well located for going out into the Quarter). So if you're looking for a place to stay that is close enough to walk to the studio, you're kind of out of luck.

But I'd look into Le Cirque and the Ambassador on Tchoupitoulas (not too far from Le Cirque). I got a really good deal at the Ambassador last summer when my mom visited.
